Techniques and Testing information

Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu contains several lists of techniques covering all aspects of Jujitsu. These were originally written on wooden boards by Professor Henry Seishiro Okazaki.  Upon graduation as a black belt, one would receive a Mokuroku (catalog listing the curriculum of the Danzan ryu Jujitsu system).

LIST OF TECHNIQUES

Beginnig Boards

Yawara -    Hand arts. Standing joint locks and self defense techniques.
Nage Te -   Throwing arts.  Similiar to Judo.
Shime Te -  Choking or Constriction arts. 

Middle Boards

Oku Te - Deep arts (combinations)
Kiai No Maki - Scroll of the Kiai (Includes weapons - knife, short stick, gun). 
Fusegi Jutsu - Self Defense techniques.

Upper Boards

Shinnin No Maki - Advanced techniques. Spirit Man Scroll.
Shinyo No Maki - "Yang" Spirit Scroll.

Healing Boards

Kappo - Resuscitation Techniques for injuries.
Seifukujutsu - Adjustment & Restoration.
