2009 Eastern Division Palmetto Fall Clinic! -  November 5th - 8th.  Columbia, SC.  Danzan ryu Jujitsu Annual Clinic!  There will be approximately 28-30 instructors.  Training will be offered in Kodenkan Danzan ryu Jujitsu, Shorinjin Ryu Saito Ninjitsu, RyuTe Karate, Kyosho Jitsu, Kodokan Judo, Baguazhang, Satori International Shuri Ryu Karate, Aikido, Isshin Ryu Karate, Kyudo, MMA, Police arts, strength training, kettle bells, modern weapons, and more.  http://dzrjujitsu.com/

Okazaki-ha Shin Tenshin Shin'yo-ryu Kyokai Clinic -  November 6th 7th & 8th.  Falls Church, VA.  Friday 6-9PM - Weapons (katana, wakizaki, nito); Saturday 9am - 6pm - Goho (jujutsu), Juho (Aiki-jujutsu), Weapons (kobu-ho) of manrikigusari, naginata, kihon-waza of sword. Demonstrations; Sunday 9am - noon - Q&A, testing (if applicable), workout questions you may have on techniques taught. http://www.seibukanrenmei.org/

Danzan ryu Jujitsu Academy -  No Set Date Yet.  We are going to have three instructors covering Danzan ryu Jujitsu (Japanese Jujitsu), Wing Tsun (Chun), and Arnis.  All instructors are local to Metro DC area.  It is an overview of traditional martial arts focused more toward self defense.  Each instructor will share aspects and approaches to their sytem and method of training.  Will cover two hours in total.

American Ju-Jitsu Assoc. (AJA) Seminar - July 18th.  Towson, MD.  8am - 6pm.  This is a seminar covering Japanese Jujutsu in the local area.  This is an excellent opportunity to train with martial arts instructors from various Japanese Jujutsu styles - George Kirby, Parulski, Stockey, Bruce Jones.  You will make new friends, catch up with old one's, and have a great time.  Go to:  http://americanjujitsuassociation.org/documents/AJAConv2009.pdf

Royce Gracie Seminar - May 16th - 17th.  Royce Gracie seminar covering Gi and No-Gi.  Gi seminar at Loudon, Virginia on May 16th.  No-Gi seminar at Alexandria, Virginia Capital Jiu-Jitsu.    WAS A GREAT EVENT.  ROYCE IS A GREAT INSTRUCTOR.

Ohana! The Kodenkan Ohana Alliance is a group of autonomous Kodenkan Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu and affiliated organizations dedicated to the principles handed down by Professor Henry S. Okazaki and aligning themselves to the Ohana family and actively supporting the Ohana convention event.

The details of the convention, including seminars, tournaments, banquet and family-oriented outings will be posted here.
